Savings/Share Account
Alamo Federal Credit Union’s savings/share account is required for membership and gives members the opportunity of enjoying the many products and services AFCU has to offer. All you need to open this account is to qualify for membership and $5.00 (minimum to open account) + $1.00 (enrollment fee).

Youth Account
Alamo Federal Credit Union’s youth account is available for the youngest members ranging in age from newborns to 17 years old. It takes the place of a regular share account and earns a slightly higher dividend rate. It only takes $5.00 (minimum to open account) + $1.00 (enrollment fee) and qualifies youth account holders to participate in various contests and youth promotions throughout the year.

Money Market Savings Account
Alamo Federal Credit Union’s Money Market account maintains a higher dividend rate than a regular share account; however, it is required for members to maintain a $500.00 balance. If the balance of this account falls below $500.00, it must be closed. This account is ideal for long-term savings. Three check withdrawals are permitted per month.

Money $avers Club
Alamo Federal Credit Union’s Money $avers Club account is the answer to high dollar Christmas spending. This account requires $1.00 to open and can be done at any point of the year. A maximum of $200.00 can be deposited per month, and may not be withdrawn or transferred without the account being closed. Once the account is closed, it cannot be re-opened until December of that year. The available funds are transferred at the beginning of December to the share account.
